phi mu
by: ??I was just curious if anyone knew why Phi Mu never colonized here like they were planning to a few years ago. Did it just fall through or is it still planned for the future because having another sorority on campus would be great!

They looked at the numbers of girls who have been going through recruitment and decided we wouldn't be able to support a 6th sorority. Numbers aren't necessarily going down, but they aren't going up enough to ensure big enough pledge classes (and an alpha class for PM) for 6 sororities.

Actually I think most people would say numbers are going down considering the tiny recruitment pool this year. AXiD has been on campus for 4 years and still gets 2/3 the PCs as everyone else so it's pretty clear we're struggling to maintain a campus with five chapters, let alone trying to balance six.
