is greek life right for me?

Bio major, musician, and not that much time on my hands. Want to get involved, but not trying to fall into an alcoholic coma or fail classes during the pledge period.

Greek life is right for you if you want it to be! You're pretty much bound to find a place in one of the chapters and you can make anything you want out of it. I'd always say take a chance and at least check it out before making a decision either way.

Thanks for the reassurance! I just know some schools have super intensive pledging semesters and when I make my way to rush I will have to be taking Calc, orgo, and a higher up bio class so I am kind of concerned.

Go for it and if the time commitment ends up being too much there's no shame in dropping before initiation. Once you are a member you can be as involved or uninvolved as you want.
