I read on the Sigma Kappa FB that they were doing recruitment during September. Are they not doing rush with the other 4 sororities?

SK will not have rush with the other 4. They will have their rush in September this fall after formal rush. This is because they will be selecting their "founding mothers" for this pledge class.

They're colonizing.
New sororities on a campus always have a separate rush the first year.
