2019 fraternity and sorority rankings

after 2 years here and being involved in greek life, I wanted to update these reputations because a lot has changed. feel free to comment your opinions!!


Fraternities:
ΑΤΩ (top 3) - the nicest guys at UAB, a lot of them are weird, but some are good looking and sociable. They're not super involved on campus outside of Greek life and don't have the highest grades, but they throw decent parties and are super genuine! Have gradually been growing the past few years. Always tabling on the Green!!

ΠΚΦ (top 3) - good looking, wealthier, and diverse guys. throw a few huge parties throughout the year that are always fun. Some of them are douchey, but they are very involved on campus and successful academically. Good mix of SEC types and smarter, UAB types. Have a cool philanthropy and they seem very involved with it.

TKE- has significantly fallen down in the past few years after being suspended. Used to be the main party fraternity, but have focused on keeping their chapter alive and have definitely changed their image to be nicer gentleman.

ΛΧΑ- Mostly southern guys, many are SEC type guys. Can be as equally douchey as pi kapps but not as involved on campus. Throw a few great parties throughout the year, too (iceberg!!). Also host really cool events on the Green like the watermelon and pumpkin smashes.

ΘΧ (top 3) - nice guys, many of them are kinda awkward. The chicks that like them really like them, and they throw good house parties. a few are very involved on campus, but most are just kinda there. However, they definitely are all very genuine dudes.

ΦΓΔ- Probably the kindest guys on campus. A few are kinda awkward. No house, but they're really trying to grow and have really good involvement. Good grades, not many parties and they're not the most fun.

ΔΣΦ- not a very active chapter anymore... a lot of stoners and only throw kinda lamer house parties. A few of the guys are good looking and sociable, but that's the minority and most are awkward.

sororities:
ΑΓΔ (top 4, arguably first) - the pretty and polite girls, some party, some don't, very involved on campus, your typical southern blonde sorority girls. The older girls were a little more diverse and involved.

ΑΟΠ (top 4) - sweet girls who like to party, still pretty but overall not as attractive as agd, really involved and care about their philanthropy. Up there with agd and alpha xi with involvement and grades

ΔΓ-really mixed group of girls, some party, some don't go out, always nice. Not a big presence on campus.

ΑΞΔ (top 4) - the smartest girls on campus, some aren't so social and awkward, but some are very involved. Pretty but not typical blonde sorority girl. always have the highest GPA's out of Sororites. Also care the most about their philanthropy.

ΣΚ- fairly new, some are okay, most girls aren't the prettiest. From who I've met they have okay personalities but they aren't trying as hard to be involved. Really don't have a presence on campus.

ΚΔ (Top 4)- Newest sorority and has definitely done a good job of recruitment. Not on par with the other 3 with involvement or grades, but getting very close! Attractive girls and relatively involved, will definitely keep improving! pretty
