The IFC is doing great by expanding and trying to colonize new chapters. Can we say this about the sororities at UAB though? No. Having only four is becoming a joke. Four was fine when the university was a couple thousand smaller, but campus is growing and enrollment is climbing. A new Panhellenic chapter at UAB would be a much needed breath of fresh air...not every girl fits in the already existing sororities.

Well..... from what I can tell, you must be from Hewitt Trussville if you want to be an AO PI. So sad, little girls will always be little girls.

really though even if that girl is just sour she didn't get a bid, she's right. haha it's sad we only have 4 sororities compared to smaller schools like South Alabama and Samford who have more than us. TIME TO EXPAND

Expansion is happening. Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, Sigma Kappa, and Phi Mu are all presenting to be the new sorority for Fall 2015.

Sigma Kappa has been chosen for 2015 and Kappa Delta for 2017
