Like the TKEs these guys get their name thrown around a lot on campus but honestly I think it's just because they've been here a while. These guys have a lot of hate thrown at them that I don't think is necessary. There's a lot of rumors and negativity that I think comes mostly from the TKEs and delta sig. But honestly I don't like them that much. Being proud of yourself and proud of being Greek is a great thing but when you start treating non Greeks like they're beneath you I loose respect.

I try to keep things positive and realistic but of the few TKEs I've met I've gotten nothing but negative feelings. My judgment of their fraternity may not be that close to the truth since I never bothered getting to involved but I was turned away from this frat quite quickly. Some of these guys just rub me the wrong way.

These guys are pretty cool. However, I'm afraid that most of the fraternity rides on the backs of a few. Some of these guys are just amazing all around. They're fun dudes. Good with girls. Respectful. Entertaining. Smart. But then there's some other ones that just don't seem to register as well anything to me. But overall good group of guys.

My God the Alphas on this campus. These guys are what they say they are. Pure Alpha. I would've loved to pledge but these guys are so Alpha they almost become inaccessible. Didn't even bother with trying. The Alphas I've met around this campus were definitely great guys but if you don't fit their mold you can feel it. I can't say anything too negative about these guys. But I have met some individuals that I've lost respect for due to their egos but I strongly doubt that's due to the fraternity.

I really like these guys. My ratings may seem a little low but that's only because of the criteria this site uses to rank Greeks. This is a true brotherhood. The only issue I have is they're a little hard to notice. If you know the brothers you can find them around campus but it's really easy to miss them. But that doesn't take away from the guys. These guys are brothers and I felt that immediately. Sometimes I regret not joining them. They are definitely brothers just not my brothers.

I have to give it to this chapter. They're pretty popular around campus. Girls tend to like them. But as a guy who's met a few of these brothers through out the years I would never join. A lot of them know exactly what to say to make a women feel safe and respected but between just the guys all that is dissolved. Some of them can be very rude and self absorbed at times. They also tend to drink a little to much. But they know how to pull girls so if that's what you care about I recommend them.

Gonna be honest. I watched this fraternity grow up. These guys may get the "Left overs" but they don't take just anyone. These guys are the definition of what UAB stand for. They are diverse. They are respectful. They are men with true characters and a wide range of personalities. They give people a chance and each year their pledge class gets better. And honestly they're the only fraternity on this campus I haven't lost respect for. So no they aren't rejects they just aren't elitists.

Not what they seem to be. Disappointed.

Theta Chi needs to find their niche at UAB, and they need to do it now. They can't afford to go another year taking everyone's leftovers and hoping that things get better for them. That being said, I can honestly say that aside from Delta Sig, Theta Chi has the most number of "who the heck are you" people. Like people who you've literally never heard of for any reason.
