sorority hazing
by: JanSo, I'm attending Troy in the fall interested in rushing this fall. However, I am slightly terrified after hearing some really rough hazing stories. I want to know if anyone has the same concern, and if they're are any alternatives bc moral reasons.

As a member of an NPC sorority, I can tell you that hazing is not allowed at all in my sorority. In fact, you're encouraged to report any hazing that you may witness, but I've personally never even seen it. You should definitely rush and give it a shot and if you ever feel uncomfortable, tell someone. I was worried about hazing too when I went through rush and then when I realized it doesn't even happen here I was like "Wow, thank goodness I took the chance!"
