troy sororities

PNMs! This is what you should know before rush.
1) Greek life at Troy may not be as big as it is at some schools but it is still awesome to be a part of any chapter at Troy
2) And I mean ANY. Don't be fooled into thinking that it actually is mutual selection. We are picking YOU. So if you think you're too good for a house, chances are you will wind up without a bid at all.
3) Rush is increasingly competitive at Troy. Getting any bid is an honor. You're not too good for any house. Chances are with 5 houses houses and 500 girls, the houses are too good for you. Do well to remember that.
4) The house you think you want going in isn't neccisarily the one you should focus on. I went in thinking since my sister was one thing, I should be that too, but I ended up liking a different house on and going them. Forget anything you've heard before walking in those 5 doors.
5) Be honest. HOWEVER, but signing a suicide pref card is literally the stupidest decision you could make. Refer to point number 2.

I have heard that PNMs are really looked at by sororities before recruitment time. Like they ask people questions about you and check up on you. What if someone has a few not so stellar things in their background? Could messing up once or twice and it getting back to someone this affect getting a bid?
And what About GPAs? Mine is like a 2.56 do I have a chAnce????

Every sorority will react differently to everything. The best thing you can do is go in with a positive attitude. Maybe explain to the sorority women your grades and your drive to do better in college with grades. And whatever background issue you have, hopefully if anyone knows about it they'll be considerate of everyone makes mistakes.
But no, we don't stalk you.
