Why are pairings so messed up this year? Why are all these top houses paired with mid tier houses?

Every 5 years or so pairings get real ducked up because of that whole "two year" rule. You know how a house can't pair with the same house for either Grand Prix or football for two years.. This leads to the year of weird ass pairs. That's why we see aphi with pi kapps, Fiji with zeta, pi phi with agr, and kappa sig with axo
