God here,

AOll only has one issue currently and that's the lack of land (so to speak, they do currently have a house after all). Their girls are fun and not stuck in their own heads. Them having a legitimate house will allow them to finally shake the squatter reputation and continue to move up in the ranks. It, of course, remains to be seen, as we can't see the future. But them becoming middle tier isn't a stretch by any means.

God out.

Of course having a new house of their very own will help them better establish on campus. Where is the land?

God, I hope that was a poser bc that was the least accurate post I've ever seen from you. AOPi is far from middle tier and them not being stuck in their own heads is a joke. I've met more down to earth girls in APhi than I have in AOPi. Their lack of land is certainly not their only issue.

AOPi has land behind Harrys and is legit building one of the nicest sorority houses in the country. I've seen the plans and its incredible. I guarantee once that house is built it wont be long until theyre top tier.

It'll help once they get a house, but I can see a lot of girls dropping because their dues are bound to be absolutely outrageous. They won't become top overnight.

except i heard that the house was an alumni donation...

Having a house of their own will help tremendously, but it won't make them "top tier" by any means. (I hate the tier system) It takes more than a nice house to be at the top. However, I could see them leaving the bottom tier and moving on up to the middle tier within the next few years, as long as they recruited well this year and continue to do so in the upcoming years.

God is right about the sqautter rep, but I don't see it completely going away until all ex-Betas and SNUs (and their fraternity and sorority friends) have left campus. So that will also take a couple years.

i don't really get the squatters rep thing? honestly, like you get put down for not being a real chapter if you dont have a house yet, but they you're punished for occupying an empty house so that you can be a "real house" until your chapter builds there own. Houses can't just magically be built in a day.

by: There's a reason

1) They promised to build a house years ago... as in 2012 and have not followed through on it. The entire time they were living in Beta they hadn't even purchased land yet. Now they're living in SNU and still show no signs of breaking ground any time soon. It seems that they put more time and energy in finding a fraternity to live in than actually building their house.

2) Them turning fraternities into makeshift houses removes the history and significance from the house. For example, they painted over SNU's murals in their staircase, which is a very significant part of their history as a chapter. That's something that's pretty much unforgivable in their eyes and I'm sure they've messed with Beta's house as well. That being said, it will take at least 4 years for that stigma to die out with all of the older SNUs and Betas when they leave Purdue.

Get real - No renter could paint over anything without their landlords approval. Also they helped beta and now snu by renting their places keeping them financially solvent so they can return. Beta and snu only have themselves to blame for a sorority living in their houses,
