Pref party is the only party where pnms truly have any control yet if anyone suggests they won't maximize their options they are criticized and penalized (no snap bids). I don't think this is fair. The sororities can release pnms at any point in the process but pnms can't outright release a sorority until pref and even then not without penalty.
