too many cooks

Anyone else think there are far too many Greek houses here at Purdue? The bottom tier fraternities don't do much that is positive for the campus. When's the last time you heard of a Crow philanthropy event? Or knew someone in Slugs holding a leadership position on campus? Many of these houses are also in disrepair. I think Skull's house is the scariest thing I've ever seen. They're a waste of space and give our community a bad name. Their pledges don't receive sufficient training about what it means to be a Greek man and in turn lose out on what this experience is primarily for. Zeta Psi's land could be used for another house like Sig Tau or KD. This may sound like a rant but I truly believe Purdue should have higher standards for their fraternity and sorority chapters.
