Can someone please explain to me why Purdue is or was trying to shut down our greek system?

From reading the authors bio on there it sounds kind of like he's a pretty terrible source and comes off as kind of a douche. Not sure why they'd let this be published

Umm...it seems like the author wrote it as a joke and the title even is "If Purdue's Greek System Was Shutdown" not that it was getting shutdown

Probably shouldn't take the Odyssey as credible news source...

If you read his bio this guy is a phi psi. So it's more likely that he just hates Purdue like the rest of the entire Greek system
