I want to join a sorority but I will be paying for it completely by myself. I don't want this to become too much of a factor but I know there are probably going to be some that I should shy away from for this reason... any help?

I'm in a sorority and I'm paying for it myself, it's totally do-able! Your first year you have to pay new member dues, which varies house to house, but it's not too bad! Once you're living in, it will all be equal to or less than what you would pay to live in a dorm, which makes it worth it, in my opinion :) hope this helps!

Seems they're all fairly close in cost, at least from what my friends in different houses tell me.
