on campus vs acres?
by: freshmanLooking at the campus map is looks like the sororities are pretty divided either by the tower or in a neighborhood. Are there pros & cons on location? Do girls on campus take the bus if the weather is lousy? Can you walk to class from the acres? I am wondering if location really makes a difference. Thanks!

Campus Houses
Pros:
- Easy to get anywhere on campus by walking
- Multiple buses can drop you off very close to your house
Cons:
- Some houses don't have a very large parking lot, so you may not get a spot if you have a car (there's plenty of street parking though)
Acres Houses
Pros:
- Every house tends to have really big parking lots so you can park your car there
- Tower Acres Bus
- Nightrider
Cons:
- Tower Acres Bus
- Impossible/inconvenient to walk to class/anywhere
Last but not least, if you're choosing your house based on its location please do not join a sorority.

Thank you for the information. I suppose it is a pretty equal decision whether you live up by the tower or on campus. I would NOT choose a house just by its location. I was just wondering how it all works out going to class. It seems it's pretty easy wherever you live. I am excited to rush!
