zeta
by: legacyMy mom was a zeta and I definitely am interested in the house but keep seeing really negative posts on here. Are there positives about being in this house and will next year be fun to be a zeta if I get a bid? It makes me nervous to hear this all

People hate on our house, but honestly I love it. I would say take Greek rank with a grain of salt and stay open minded when you're going through recruitment because then you're banking on no ones opinion or judgement but your own and you'll end up where you're meant to be. I have met my best friends in Zeta and if I didn't love it, I would have dropped. Our philanthropy BMOC is a lot of fun and the biggest on campus and I had so so SO much fun that night because all of our hard work that was made throughout the year really showed and it showed how many people we helped and supported. Bottom line is I absolutely love zeta and the friends I've made in it and wouldn't choose to be anywhere else

I agree with the Zeta who replied above me. I'm not in their house and as a whole, I don't mind them; they're fun, loving, usually laughing, and have big big big personalities. Sure there are some girls I'm not the biggest of fan of but that's life and you can't please everyone. Go into recruitment with an open mind, if you end up as a Zeta like your mom, great! But remember, you're not your mother, you're your own individual. So if you don't end up in Zeta, you're still going to find a sisterhood that loves you just as much. Don't mind so much about the "negatives", this site is anonymous bull and you can't believe everything you read.

Tbh you probably won't end up in the same house as your mom if you go into recruitment how you're actually supposed to. I preffed my sister's house and didn't end up choosing it because once I was being honest with myself I realized the only reason it was actually on my radar was for some kind of loyalty I was feeling for my sister. Forget the fact that your mom pledged there, keep a neutral mindset on every house, and go through recruitment the way everyone else does. And for the love of all things Lilly Pulitzer, GET OFF OF GREEK RANK!!!! Happy recruiting!

Ps @ I'm a Zeta, leave the selling your house for recruitment, not Greek rank. You'll have your time to talk about how great your philanthropy and sisters are then. You could have just said she needs to keep an open mind and not listen to what others say.
