Not in aopi but one of my friends in the house said they bought land and were planning on having the house built by fall 2016. The land they bought was in the same area as sig chi and skulls. So I don't think they're planning on staying in a frat house though I wonder if Kappa Delta might

it would make sense to put energy into actually building a house but that's not always as easy as wanting a house and getting one built

If they have land they're obviously just going to be in snu until its built and then they'll move to their actual house. Idk why people are freaking out. Either way, a sorority will be living in snu until snu comes back to campus

I can't imagine KD taking over SNU so quickly...they haven't even recruited yet! With that said, the less empty greek houses sitting empty the better. Let's hope a chapter can find a home there albeit it only temporary until SNU comes back. The more greeks on campus the better.

I agree. But if KD does live in SNU, which seems likely at this point, wouldn't they move in around 2016? Even so, that's just giving them a 1 year fix with SNU's probo. I'd rather see them live in SNU than Aopi- who wants a squatters rep?

There isn't enough time or soap in the world to scrub down SNU for girls to live in. Someone mentioned this the other day but if they live in SNU they're going to get a really bad rep as the "squatter house."
Instead of figuring out what fraternity to hit up to rent out, they should be putting that energy into actually building the house they said they were going to build 2 years ago.
