what is a "red door frat"?

I've heard the term used a lot but I still have no idea what it is compared to a regular fraternity.

God here,

Red door refers to the fraternity that sits across the street from DG. The painted their door black in hopes to ditch the name, but they will always be Red Door. They have a bad reputation for a variety of accusations, but I won't go into them here.
