divine 9

Why don't any of the historically black sororities have any houses or anything on campus? I'm just wondering because a lot of my friends talk about them (I'm white so I hadn't really heard of the divine 9 till I got here) and they seem to be pretty difficult to get into and stuff but why does everyone act like they don't exist?
