Girls drop for a whole lot of reasons... Either they sleep through parties and have to drop, don't want to give up labor day weekend so they bail before it even starts, if they find greek isn't for them, or if their fave house didn't offer them a bid/welcome them back, i'd say that's the most common.
But I believe all the girls that drop are welcome to participate in Continuous Open Recruitment.. But you can't do COR if you declined a bid.

My theory is that with panhel being so strick about numbers and quotas for each house that in a few years all the houses will be pretty much equal....so everyone might as well start getting along now!!!!

apparently neither are Chi O, Zetas, or Pi Phi then...but there is absolutely nothing wrong with snap bidding.
