spring rush or wait

Should I rush in the spring and run the possibility that I join a soroity that might not be the best fit, or wait to do formal recruitment in the fall as a sophmore?

Do houses look down on sophmores rushing?

not necessarily. It decreases your chances of getting in a house but almost every house takes 2 or more sophomores every fall

You can try spring rush this year, some top houses do it too and if that's what you're looking for then wait and see if any of them are having spring rush. If you don't like any of the sororities spring rushing then wait and do it as a sophomore.
