dorms

Owen: if you want to be in a sorority usually most of the girls end up in owen. owen is known as the "fun" dorm that everyone wishes they would have lived in if they didn't. don't let the no ac scare you..yes its hot but the social aspect is worth it.
Wiley: is the same ^ for the most part
McCutechon/Harrison: these are far away from campus but a lot of really cool people live here too.
Shreve: nerd dorm
Earhart: nice but not that fun
Meredith: DO NOT LIVE HERE

If you're in the honors college you have to stay in shreve which isn't so bad but I agree, own is pretty great. It's near ford which is nice but further away from the other dining courts which is kinda a downer but it's very social I've heard talk from many girls who aren't in sororities and say that more than half their floor is sorositutes while places like shreve or earhart or Meredith have maybe 5-10 per floor

Honestly I didn't even have Owen on my list and I got put there anyway and I'm glad I was placed there. Such a social dorm, most of the guys on my floor went greek and there's so many girls that go greek that come out of Owen. I would place Owen first if I were you, the AC situation isn't that bad just get a fan and you'll be fine.
