Urgent HW Question

Good morning Mr. Nevans,

I wanted to ask why My Lab has us use 12/5pi in step 2 of the answer explanation to question 7. I figured that because it wraps around 3/4 of the way and the range is 2:6, you can just multiply the range ratio an ddivide by 4/4- (-3/4) which is closest to 5 when you add the x3 for the kilroy series?
