Spring COB as a sophomore?
by: GirlWhat are my chances of getting a bid during COB this spring as a sophomore? I mostly see COB bids go to freshman… do I even have a chance? My gpa is mediocre at best

for what it's worth i got a bid at a house through cob as a sophomore. i didn't know a single girl in the house beforehand (and had dropped out of primary recruitment the semester before even though they were still inviting me back). there were maybe 30ish girls at the first cob event and ultimately 5 bids were given out

A lot of it has to do with your willingness to live in the house. Some houses have strict 2 year live in requirements and don’t want to “waste” a bid on someone who can’t commit to that. Unfortunately sometimes houses have to do what is best financially, like giving a freshman who can live in the house for two years a bid
