How Competitive is to Rush Here?

by:

I understand that the more "top" house you choose to rush, the more competitive it tends to be. However, during my time at IU for a year, I noticed that even the mid-tier houses had over 400 students participating in rush. Greek life seems to be a significant part of the culture at IU, and I'm wondering if it's a similar scene at Purdue, if at all. appreciate it.

The PNM doesn't really choose which houses to rush. You visit them all and rank which houses you would like to return to. Then, the houses decide who they would like to invite back. If they invite you back, you most likely go to the next round, unless you ranked other houses higher and you have more houses that want you than you can return to for the next round. Research IU's recruitment versus Purdue and I believe you will find significant differences in how houses at IU reach quota versus how Purdue reaches quota.
