Help! I got a bid!

I received a bid for a low tier sorority which I have to accept or decline by tonight. However, I really want to get a bid from a top sorority through COB! If I accept my bid for the low tier sorority now can I still back out after a week and join a better sorority later?

Have the top sororities responded to you? If they have, do not accept the bid and wait to go on dates with them. If not, would you be happy in this house? Yes, accept the bid. No, keep looking. You can’t join another house after accepting a bid.

One can never join another sorority after being initiated. Accepting a bid then realizing it’s not your vibe- one can drop BEFORE initiating…. Then can join another. Have seen a few do this.

If you accept a bid, you cannot rush til next formal recruitment. So no, you can’t drop after a week and rush another house.
