rush advice plz
by: plzrushing has been the only thing on my mind for months and its been going so bad i’ve tried my best at every single house and for first invitational i only got back six houses and half of them are AGD, Gphi and Aopi like even KD and SK didn’t invite me back and i’m so upset rn because i’ve wanted aphi and kappa so bad for months bc rushing is the only thing ive looked forward to i just want to drop and try to rush Aphi through cob. does anybody know how to go about cob or how to maximize my chances of getting a snap bid from a top house?

there's probably a reason why you received houses like gphi agd and aopi. if low tier houses like kd and sk aren't giving you a bid, you are most definitely not cut out for houses like aphi and kappa. the facts are simple, just hard to swallow. lower your standards a bit, and you'll find the house for you.

wow the glazing is crazy. imagine wanting to join a house that doesn't even want you. you won't even be invited to cob unless you know multiple sisters in the house. on top of that aphi rarely does cob, and when they do, it's usually only for 2-3 members. good luck (you have no chance)

COBing Aphi is the easiest thing ever they would take a literal piece of cloth in for COB… they have to DM girls on Instagram in order to secure spots

your attitude is exactly why you aren’t getting many houses inviting you back. you very clearly have an idea of what you think aphi is, and bc of that, you got dropped. it’s so easy to tell when pnm’s push a certain narrative about themselves bc they think that’s what aphi is and what we want. and every time they get dropped.

the only girl I know from 3 yrs at purdue who got a cob bid at alpha phi made it all the way to pref with them during primary -- odds are not great they're going to cob someone who didn't make it past open house. probably in your better interests to take this year to get good grades and join some other student orgs and try again next year (or MAYBE in the spring -- a few houses usually have more cob going on in the spring than in the fall)

because everybody loves alpha phi!! in order for a girl to get the absolute best college experience she has to go aphi. they're the top house, they sit on top of the social hierarchy and rule the school. that status is something only the most elite can achieve. it's just like the barbie movie! barbie is an aphi girl: thin, beautiful and perfect. instead the creators ruined the movie by transforming her to human and causing tons of problems! she should accept Ken's (the frats) love for her and quit acting like she doesn't love to be the perfect sweet barbie (most desired sorority girl) that everybody wants to be. alpha phi is the one for me and i know that from the bottom of my heart, its my home. i will be dropping out of recruitment tonight and will immediately go through COB with Alpha Phi! SAY IT WITH ME! EVERYBODY LOVES ALPHA ALPHA EVERYBODY LOVES ALPHA PHI!!!
