To PNM’s - as you navigate the recruitment process- remember- EVERY single sorority offers the same things. A sorority is what YOU make of it and will determine your experience.
Friends for life, social, academic support, scholarships, leadership opportunities, networking, philanthropy, and more!
Follow your gut as to where you feel most comfortable. During rounds, ask many open ended questions to find a commonality with who’s rushing you. Once you do- you’ll feel as you’ve been friends for 100 years.
NEVER name drop ( you can mention someone who’s not liked and will be cut) , don’t talk about people you went to high school with (see why above) , don’t talk about boys or parties.
Ask ?’s like- what’s your favorite pizza toppings, best concert you’ve attended, describe your sorority in 3 words- etc

Idk if this post was made just to provoke people but I hope you know that saying “Follow your gut!” and then giving a rank of every house is counterintuitive. Rushing is a great options to make friends yes but there are equal opportunities no matter how “popular” the house is.

I do not see this as provoking or counterintuitive. It’s solid advice with a list of sororities that are more ‘popular’ than others. I don’t recommend to pledge just to pledge… you STILL have to like the people you will be sisters with. Look at how many girls drop because they don’t get their favorites back. There could definitely be one whose 1st choice is ZTA, and 2nd choice Phi Mu…. Could be cut from ZTA- but asked back at phi mu- don’t then discount phi mu even though they may not be as popular as ZTA-
