a pnm’s reason to rush

i had a really bad freshman yr and the only thing that’s been on my mind for months is sorority rush bc i want to get the life i want so bad: friends, parties, and being happy 24/7. i was an outcast in high school and barely made friends freshman year so joining a sorority is my last chance at being happy in college.

if you were an outcast in high school, you're going to want to work on a real glow up if you're trying to get into a sorority that gets invited all the time to parties

joining a sorority doesn’t magically turn your life around. it just makes a smaller pool of people to make friends from. if you’re having difficulties making friends on a college campus, then grab coffee with people you don’t know well, join a social media group, join a club, make a study group with classmates! if you think a sorority will drop friends and activities in your lap without any effort, you’re wrong. without involvement and the courage to talk to people you’ve never met, you’ll be in the same position you are now. a sorority will be a great option but ONLY if you have a change in attitude.
