A guide to rushing fall 2023

Here is a guide for all of the guys who are planning on rushing. I am ranking these with best houses first and so on. I am leaving out irrelevant houses

1. Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) - SAE is seen as one of the top three houses on campus. Theyre at 1 because of sustained popularity. The guys are very cool and throw functions that are either hit or miss, no inbetween. Pledgeship is hard from what I hear, but a great place to rush. Their house is nice, but the only knock is that it is far off campus.

2. Theta Chi (OX)- OX is newly in the top tier of frats on campus gaining huge momentum with their past 2 years of pledge classes. These are cool guys who care a little bit more about school than the SAEs do (house GPA info is on the purdue greek page). There is not much of a difference between them and SAE, you will find that the top three are all very similar. Their house is nice and their parties (Especially grand prix) Are great. Their pledgeship is on the easier side from what i hear, but they do not bid big pledge classes.

3. Delta Tau Delta (Delts)- Delts again is the same as the other two houses. only reason they are at 3 is because of recent social probation and a mid grand prix (Rained out darty). Other than that their house is in a great location by all of the academic buildings, it is old and historic inside which is a cool feel. Their pledgeship is probably the most rough out of all the three and your grades may take a hit, but it is def worth it. they throw the best darties by far

4. Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji): Fiji is an interesting one. Their guys are cool, they pair with good sororities. Their house is awful though. It is very run down. Their parties are fun but not as fun as the top three. Some weird guys get through but still overall a good house

5. Beta Theta Pi (Beta): Beta has the best looking house on campus. It is big and very nice. Their parties are very hit or miss. They do have some of the biggest ones though that many people go to. They have cool guys but also some weird guys. Their biggest knock is that they are a dry house. Overall a respectable house and good place to rush

6. Kappa Sigma (Kappa sig): Kappa sig is the most different house on this list. They are 100% the most stereotypical frat guys on campus. their house is decent (Big). Half of the guys are cool, the other half... the house has gained some popularity but nowhere near as good as the other houses. Their biggest knock is that the top three houses do not really affiliate with them that much. Kappa sig is known to mess with other houses things and frats do not like them that much.

7. Sigma Chi (Sig Chi): Sig Chi would have been at the top of this ranking a year ago, but they have really fallen off. Half of their house was kicked out so theyre rebuilding. The guys still in it are cool, but they have a long way to go. They have a very nice house. Parties are non existent now but sororities still go over there. Not even close to the top three
