Rushing as a Sophomore
by: heyI am thinking about rushing in the fall but I am worried I won't get any bids because I am a sophomore. Does anyone know if sororities take sophomores and if so how many? Also, do I need to know girls in the sororities to get a bid (rn I don't really know a lot)?

Each sorority that is doing primary recruitment has to take in a certain number of sophomores depending on how big their new member class has to be (this is decided by panhel). So yes, you have a good chance of getting a bid during rush this fall! Also, you don’t need to know girls currently in sororities at Purdue in order to get a bid during primary recruitment, that is more for COB which takes place after regular rush. I hope that helps!
