1. Rush with an open mind because EVERY sorority offers the same: forever friends, scholarship, leadership, philanthropy, social, networking & more. So do NOT pay attention to Greek rank opinions- yours is the only one that matters. A sorority is what YOU make of it.

2. When interviewing at houses ask OPEN ENDED questions to get to know the active to make a connection as if you’ve been friends for a million years.

3. Pay attention to other PNM’s at rush parties as they are the one’s going to be in your PC.

4. Be yourself during recruitment as it can at times feel overwhelming, superficial and pretentious.

5. Ignore dirty rushers when they tell you, “I’m going to make sure you get a bid” you will 99% get disappointed.

6. Don’t name drop, don’t talk about boys or parties.

7. Clean up your Instagram- sororities pay attention

8. Don’t spend tons of $$$$$ on fits - just follow the themes and be presentable- as if you are interviewing for your dream job.

9. Take notes after each party because you may forget details of the house you just left.

10. Have fun and trust the process as you search and find your college family and girl squad.
