Idk, does this mean that houses that are painfully mid think they are better now because they didn’t COB. Let me know how you pair lol, because guys really pay attention to who COBs. Hahaha. But if makes you feel better.

@facts…. Facts are that so called TOP houses according to everyone on here has to COB to make quota. Regardless of how many senior or other members drop-,obviously their retention is slipping. A top chapter can’t be based solely on appearance when there’s no substance.

Hardly, but okay. It’s because seniors drop not who has a better sisterhood. 21 year olds don’t need Greeklife anymore. It’s just the way it is now.

COB has more to do with seniors dropping than how a house did during primary recruitment. Panhel dictates how many woman you get in your pc during primary recruitment. So if you get 42 assigned to you that’s all you can have. If you need more members than that to recruit up to campus total because you had even 3 seniors drop you’d have to COB to replace those 3 seniors. It’s not as scandalous as y’all try to make it. But I don’t expect half of you to understand this cuz y’all just like drama.

Everyone is saying that this is just bc seniors are dropping. There's certainly some truth to that, but it is interesting to note which houses need to COB versus which don't because seniors are still committed enough to the sisterhood and the house to stay in as a senior. idk about y'allllll but don't you wanna join a house you stay in for the friendships and sisterhood, not just for a place to live for a year or two?

Just because you drop as a senior doesn't mean you lose those friendships/sisterhood.... seniors don’t want to pay dues, attend chapter/rush/other mandatory events when they've already met their friends and enjoyed their Greek experience. Doing COB is not that deep? And making it seem like it's a negative thing is sad for those who become COB pledges...

Well…. Has anyone ever stopped to think that most seniors want to live out of the house? Most are 21 by then and have no use for it because they want to go to the bars and not hang out in the frats. So - apartment life is more appealing and why pay the 2k+ dues .. so basically the majority of seniors drop…. And hello the need for COB.
