What to expect for rush

Legacy and/or existing relationships get you invited to the summer invites. A lot of the well known fraternities do non-publicized activities. You definitely have a leg up from some stranger that has no connection and has to "sell" themselves at a rush event. I would guess 80% of the invites had some type of advantage to get their foot in the door. This is life and fraternity rushing is no different. Honestly, this is way more relevant in the harder to get in fraternities. It doesn't in any way guaranty you a bid, but it gives you a big advantage!
