Pledgeship Time Commitment
by: heyHow much time do frat freshmen need to plan on doing stuff for pledgeship every week? Is it doable with a hard major?

Pledgeship for SAE, Fiji, and Sig Chi are brutal and will extend into the spring semester. They'll be more of a time commitment than FYE for sure.
Pi Kapps, Delts, and Beta are shorter and less intense. They usually initiate by late November. ZBT and Theta Chi are even less intense but still a time commitment. Other houses will initiate pretty early and won't be anything crazy.

Part of pledging is being responsible with your time. Most houses will tell the new pc during the process that their only 2 priorities should be school then pledgeship. Meaning, it's smarter not to go to the football game if you have a busy week with pledgeship/classes and get a huge jump on school work instead.

it depends it's rlly abt the person not that much abt pledging. ur never gonna need to skip a football game tho. Just make study groups with ur PC and ur chilling. BTW ur not gonna fail out no matter ur major unless ur slow and just don't put in any effort for ur classes.
