Greek Independents

A prominent thing I remember from my Purdue days during the 1950s is the independents also had Greek letters, Gamma Delta Iota. Toned down, that is Gosh Darn Independent. The Greek letters meant that independents also have status. That benefitted my ego. I have heard that Gamma Delta Iota still exists today at Purdue.
