by: expnmJust wanted to put it out there that I was one of the people that did read the Michigan expose on Alpha Phi recruitment policies. Reading this document impacted my ultimate decision. So, even after meeting so many people from the house during rush, I ranked Alpha Phi #2 for pref and I'm not pledging the house. I hope if more people vote with their feet that maybe things will change. It will take a lot of people doing this to change things but I hope over time things will change. BTW, I LOVE MY HOUSE and their values and recruitment practices are consistent with my personal beliefs about how human beings SHOULD BE TREATED!

Just putting it out there that if you really wanted A Phi dropped and didn't agree with the way they recruit, then you would have had them dropped way before preference. And the fact that you put them down as second in preference shows you still were willing to accept a bid from them. If you really didn't agree with them you wouldn't have ranked them at all in preference showing you are not willing to take a bid from them.
