Bombed my interview
by: TerrifiedI was so nervous during my zoom interview so I said almost nothing. Now I’m afraid that no one will be interested in meeting me. Should I drop out now and try recruitment next year after people know me personally? I’m terrible at small talk.

as someone who dropped out of formal recruitment, DON'T!! stick it out, it's sooo much better to drop after meeting all the houses and making it through a few rounds than to drop before anything even starts. i can only speak for my house but i know srats this year are going to be super gracious and understanding with stuff like what you mentioned -- we're not going to expect you to be a pro at this because we're not pros either. trust the process and give it a go, i regretted dropping so much!!
