Do better people

The semester hasn’t even begun yet and barely anyone seems to give a flying f—about the current situation. People aren’t wearing masks, social distancing has been non existent, and parties have started all over. I know it sucks and we all just want things to be like August 2019, but things are different right now and a few of you need to grow up and sort your priorities because if you don’t, we are ALL royally screwed this semester. It may have been a while since you all chilled with your friends, but you will have plenty of time to hang out when the pandemic passes. The sooner you bite the silver but very real bullet, the sooner things are going to be better. Remember, you guys were the ones that pleaded to Purdue to reopen this Fall, don’t let them regret that over a few hours of noncompliance. At the rate we’re going at now, we won’t even make it past September and are all going to have a 4 month long Fall break because of a few oblivious and unmindful students. Gatherings may seem like fun now, but it won’t be too fun when we get sent back home. Don’t be the bad eggs that ruin the whole basket, have some common sense, maybe educate yourself a bit, and simply do better.
