My ranking of the sororities when you take drinking out of the equation. These are based on my experiences, which might not align with yours.

I like this 'new way' of ranking. Drinking and partying changes a lot of things. I haven't looked at the membership retention stats recently but I think it would be also interesting to rank based on sisterhood and retention! I wonder if retention rankings would more closely align with the non drinking/partying ranking that the OP suggested? My guess is that it just might. Wonder if PNMs are paying attention to this particular thread as it just might make a different between a 'so so' Purdue Greek Experience and a really Great Purdue Greek Experience.
Just saying....the sisterhood lacking conversation is one that needs to be had but sadly it doesn't get talked about enough here. Wish it did. I really love my sisters but I only looked at the issue of how sisters in the house treated each other because my older sister at another school told me how important this issue is to how I feel in my house over time.
Wake up PNM's! Sisterhood matters. How people treat each other matters. Are you seeing a whole house of Stepford Wives when you go visit (HIYA Alpha Phi, we are winking at you NOW!) and most of the sisters can't stand each other?
Pay attention to how people treat each other and you will clearly see how different EACH of the houses are. You can't fake sisterhood easily, even though we see each year that many houses try.

This is honestly something everyone should get behind. There's so much more to a sorority than just showing up at functions and puking everywhere. You can look at the "general" rankings all you want but at the end of the day, personal preference and fit matters the most. Not an arbitrary ranking based on the percentage of girls who get bad spray tans and fake nails.

ok but it’s IMPOSSIBLE to know about the sisterhood of every house from the outside. just because a house is “lower” on the typical tier system doesn’t mean they like each other more. i know plenty of the lower houses who can’t stand each other and plenty of the higher houses who really love each other. this just comes back around to going where you REALLY feel comfortable.
