gpa in sorat recruitment

im an incoming freshman and I understand that fall rush might not even happen but I was wondering how much hs gpa mattered in recruitment? Like is there a certain number where you get automatically dropped or does it just effect you in the long run?

Depends on the house. I’d say if you had an A/B average in high school you should be fine. But yes, most house do take high school gpa very seriously

As long as you had above a 3.0 and/or some extracurriculars in HS, you should be fine. It’s definitely a factor but it’s not something to freak out about and personality is what we are mainly looking for. Also, if you have any legacies that will help your chances.
