pike's reputation?

Why does Pike have such a bad rep? I've heard several times about people getting "Piked" and I don't get it. I'm legacy there but I don't know about that.

As a mom of a prospect, I have to say Pike House has been more than gentlemanly and respectable in their selection process. Have fun at basketball today! Love you Pike newbie..AKA AMS- Mom & Bradley :) Study in chunks, balance is the key.
