pike's reputation?

Why does Pike have such a bad rep? I've heard several times about people getting "Piked" and I don't get it. I'm legacy there but I don't know about that.

they just try way too hard. they think they are soo cool being across the street from campus... news flash, so are 5+ houses. They dont attract cool guys, just intramural players, i mean thats great if your their brothers were super stars, but they arnt and intramural dont matter at Purdue

Pike is definitely one of the better houses on campus....

Pike at Purdue is not a terrible house, but they are known for being a bit creepy and trying way to hard. Middle tier house at best

I definitely have to say I've enjoyed every party I've been to at Pike. Nice guys. I'm not a bad looking girl or anything. So really, everyone just needs to calm themselves.

Nobody in their right mind would say Pike is middle tier and up-and-coming. They are bottom tier. Pike is fun for GDIs who can't go anywhere else, but nowhere near as good as the middle and top houses.

Every party I have been to at Pike is great because of their space. A good size and layout. The guys are mid-tier and girls have told me that all pike boys are "the same"
