rushing as a sophomore with a low gpa

Debating on signing up to rush a sorority this semester. I really want to join one and know sophomore year is probably my last chance to do it. I had a really rough freshman year with some medical issues and it really affected my GPA so it’s low. Will all sororities immediately drop me because of my low GPA or understand if I explain my situation and see the rest of my high credentials, campus involvement, etc. and not drop me ?
