how competitive is sorority rush?

I’m going to be a freshman here in the fall and want to join a sorority. I don’t care about being in a top tier sorority, so I wanted to know if more “middle”/“lower middle” sororities are still hard to get into and if I should get recs. Thanks!

Be yourself during the rush process and try to make connections with the sisters in the house. Rec letters mean nothing- you MIGHT get called back to a second party and that’s it.
