how competitive is purdue sorority rush/recruitment?

About 60-70% Of all the girls that start rush receive bids. But that’s because so many girls drop bc they didn’t get their favorite houses back. It’s very rare for a girl who actually finishes rush to not receive a bid. It’s kind of competitive especially to get “top tier” houses but if you’re just looking for a sisterhood and a group of girls that you’ll get along with it’s not super difficult

Tbh, there's not that much difference here between a 'top' and a 'mid' house. So if you are joining to find friends, then actually find friends during rush, instead of pandering to male rankings of the sororities. Maybe it's because I'm a senior, but I see Greek women caring a lot less now about how our frat boys rate us than when I was a baby. Sure, a-hole guys will always rate girls, it's just that we don't listen to them anymore.

Crazy that there are rules for most houses that make their actives live in the house until graduation. If all the houses allowed seniors the option 100% of the time to live out , yet still be a member and participate, A LOT more could pledge as freshman. Makes for larger memberships.
