bidding after one event?

Is it true that the fraternities on probo ( Kappa Sig, SAE ) are starting to bid after the first rush event? Why would they do that?

Yes, SAE and Kapap Sig bid after one event. I know a kid who got a bid to SAE without even going to an event and just knowing a few guys

SAEs are moving at lightspeed to get to young, unsuspecting PNMs before they see other houses and realize they are on a long, serious probo. Let me guess...SAEs are still promising a multi-million dollar house renovation. That's been a rumor now for 4-5 years. It makes for a good story to a PNM, but won't happen in our lifetime!

LOL...SAEs are a decent house, no doubt....but if they consider their renovation half-complete, then that is very sad. Got a ways to go, guys! If they do something like Betas or Sigma Chis, then I'll be impressed. But, it sounds like they couldn't raise the big money!
