by: GirlSorry if this is stupid, but what do I wear to the open houses? Also what are the sororities looking for in girls. I know different ones look for different things, but I want to make sure that I make these things known. Do they ask you questions or just generally try and get to know you?

Open House-You'll get a tshirt you have to wear for the open house rounds during Recruitment Orientation, everyone pretty much pairs them with cute shorts and comfy but cute walking sandals because you visit every house those days, for hair: do something that your hair agrees with in humidity/heat AKA don't straighten your hair if you have a head full of beautiful curls and makeup: airy and natural, now is not the time to bust out fuscia eyeliner. Rush is just a conversation, you ask some questions so do we, easy as that. Just be yourself really, let's be real, girls can tell if you're being fake and not yourself, just be you and you'll find a home, best of luck to you.

Also be sure to be comfortable for the weather. It may be hotter than hell on some days. Be prepared w/ deoderant, gum, body spray - drink water every chance you get, too. Open houses are a MARATHON. It is not for the faint at heart - be prepared physically and mentally.
