is leaving ifc really that crazy at this point?

I feel like IFC is becoming toxic and now is working against Greek Life more than it is protecting it. If about 5 large houses were to disaffiliate and bite the bullet on extra insurance cost, a real message could be sent. All it takes is discipline and an extra push from you alumni donations for it to be reasonable!

Five years from now that's probably where it will have to head toward. The only people that will remain are the people that are Cutler's lap dogs (we all know who I'm talking about). So might as well start looking into ways to make the transition from IFC to unaffiliated smooth.

Nationals probably wont allow it and will pull your charter. It's a lot of risk for them too. They could add major probations if not pulling your charter.

You guys complain a lot. Life's not too bad and Greek life isn't too important.

While this is true, I'm a senior and I've seen Greek life get progressively worse and worse every year. It's something we're all involved in and we should try and make a difference

It's been done at other Universities, with enough logistics it could be done here too

If multiple houses were to do it, they'd probably be in the clear. The University doesn't want to make any headlines with kicking lots of houses off

If you leave IFC then you cant register functions.. and any whiff Purdue gets of you hosting a party will result in a hearing with purdue osrr. So unfortunately it's just set up so leaving isn't really an option
