how big is spring rush?
by: Gamma Delta IotaHow many people usually participate in spring fraternity rush compared to fall? I was looking at the numbers for pledge class sizes this past spring and they were pretty tiny all around. Is this because less people come out or are fraternities really selective in the spring?

It's a bit of both. There's probably about half the amount of people rushing. But also since the pledge classes are tinier, fraternities do get a bit more selective. Since they already have a good amount of people from the fall class they don't need certain numbers in the spring.
